As the Receptionist / Customer Service Specialist IT Support, you will serve as the primary liaison between employees and the IT department within a corporate setting, offering frontline assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your role will encompass a variety of clerical, technical, and customer service responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Greeting and assisting walk-up users with their IT-related inquiries and support needs, ensuring a welcoming and professional first point of contact.
Providing initial troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and peripheral device issues, with particular emphasis on Windows operating system support and POS systems.
Managing and prioritizing high volumes of support requests while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and empathy in customer interactions.
Escalating complex or unresolved technical issues promptly to appropriate IT teams, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution tracking.
Performing routine clerical duties such as data entry, maintaining logs of support requests, and documentation of incidents in accordance with organizational standards.
Collaborating with IT staff and other departments to coordinate support efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in user support services.
Adhering strictly to all workplace policies, IT security protocols, and confidentiality requirements, including handling sensitive information with discretion.
Supporting and contributing to a positive workplace culture by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and proactive communication at all times.

Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in receptionist and customer service roles, preferably within technology-driven or high-volume environments.
Proven ability to operate effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and assist a diverse user base, ranging from end users to technical staff.
Comfortable and experienced working directly in an IT walk-up help desk or support environment.
Current Secret clearance is mandatory to fulfill onsite access and security requirements.
Commitment to consistent onsite presence and strict adherence to established working hours.
