Job Description
• Diagnose and repair CCTV and access control systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical system issues
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Respond to service calls (including emergency/after-hours)
• Support multiple MedStar sites as needed (floater role)
• Work directly with hospital staff and stakeholders
• Document service work, parts usage, and issues
Provide guidance to other technicians when needed
$90k to $94k year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience
• Maryland State security/low voltage license
• Strong experience with Genetec (Access Control + VMS)
• Experience with CCTV & access control troubleshooting/repair
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high-stress environments (hospital setting)
• Excellent customer service / communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Professional/polished demeanor (client-facing)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Genetec certified
• Experience with:
○ Infant abduction systems (e.g., Hugs/Hotguard)
• Previous healthcare/hospital environment experience
• Experience mentoring junior technicians
