Secret Senior C#/.Net Software Engineer

Insight Global is looking to hire a Software Engineer to support a newly awarded defense contract in Washington, DC. This persons responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work within an Agile development methodology and participate in scrum meetings.
Write, modify, and enhance code written in C# on a .Net framework to ensure effective and secure code.
Improve functionality and design of the user interface
Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code reliability. Implement STIG requirements. Assist the Test Engineers in automation tests.
Play a key role in migrating the code from SQL Servers to AWS Cloud.
Support the design and development of databases, including queries and schema updates for Oracle and SQL Server.
Ensure all software updates meet DoD RMF and STIG compliance requirements.
Provide technical briefings, support, and recommendations to program leadership, ensuring software aligns with DoDs needs

8+ years of software development in C#/.Net frameworks performing the maintenance and upgrades of code
Familiar with cloud based environments and the ability to assist in migration activity from SQL Server
