Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for a Project Manager to support their ongoing federal engineering and construction programs. This individual will be responsible for managing several multimillion dollar projects and ensuring that execution stays on track. This includes scope development, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, handling contract documents, working through change orders, and managing subcontractors. They will also be the point person for various stakeholders including internal employees, government contracting office representatives, field government employees and other vendors.

Our client would strongly prefer candidates who are local to the DC market but would be open to considering strong candidates who are not local. These candidates would need to work Eastern/Central hours and be willing to travel to DC monthly in order to meet with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in federal/government project management space
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Tech savvy; able to work in MS Office Suite and project management software (MS Project/ProCore/etc.)
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Strong knowledge of the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
