Job Description

My client is looking for a Cost & Change Manager to join their new federal demolition project in Washington DC. This person will be joining a team of 3 with an estimator and scheduler also on board. Their day to day responsibilities will include handling all cost and change management for the project - negotiating with contractors, attending and running internal and client meetings, processing change forms and making necessary adjustments to schedule and budget. This is a hybrid role where 3 days/week will be onsite.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience in construction cost and change management OR 10+ years of that relevant experience (can be a PM from a electrical/mechanical subcontractor, project engineer or APM from GC, or work at an engineering firm like Parsons, Jacobs, etc.
- know the difference between merit and entitlement on a construction jobsite

- previous federal project experience
