Job Description
Our large global manufacturing client is looking for an Intake and Project Delivery Lead to join their IT Strategy and Governance team, reporting into a new Lead Technical PMO. Our client is building a true, IT-focused Technical PMO (TPMO) to support a significant influx of enterprise IT demand, driven by organization-wide system upgrades and ongoing technology modernization efforts. The focus has shifted toward optimizing how technology initiatives are evaluated, prioritized, and delivered, making this TPMO the single point of entry into IT for both intake and execution. As part of this effort, the organization is seeking an Project Delivery Lead to enforce delivery discipline, monitoring project health, and driving corrective action across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid programs. This is a hands-on role within a true IT-focused PMO, requiring the ability to ask the right technical questions while also effectively engaging business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is digitally native, GenAI- and Copilot-forward.
This is a hybrid position, 3-4 days onsite in Wilmington, DE, and the targeted pay rate would not exceed $65/hr.
Decision Rights
• Own delivery governance routines, including:
○ Status reporting
○ RAID management
○ Change control hygiene
• Approve delivery plans and baselines for TPMO reporting (schedule, milestones, dependencies)
• Enforce corrective action plans for delivery risks or delays
• Determine initiative health status (green / yellow / red) based on defined criteria
• Approve readiness for key stage gates (e.g., design complete, test readiness, cutover readiness)
• Recommend go / no-go decisions to sponsors or release authorities

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in project or program delivery, preferably within IT or technical environments
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Strong understanding of SDLC, delivery governance, and quality frameworks
• Ability to identify delivery risks early and drive concrete remediation actions
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
• Comfortable using JIRA
• Actively leverages Copilot and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes
