Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Applications Lead responsible for the end-to-end ownership, support, and strategic evolution of laboratory and scientific applications supporting Preclinical and Translational Research. Serves as the primary IT partner to scientific stakeholders, providing advanced application support, managing integrations and upgrades, driving workflow optimization, and ensuring reliable, compliant, and scalable lab technology solutions. Also oversees vendor performance, IT service management processes, and data enablement initiatives that support analytics and AI-driven research.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years supporting laboratory or scientific applications within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
- Strong understanding of preclinical research workflows (biology, DMPK, screening, biomarkers, translational research).
- Experience supporting laboratory systems such as LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and/or scientific instrumentation software (Thermo, Sciex, Waters, Agilent, Incucyte, Softmax).
- Hands-on experience with application lifecycle management, including implementations, integrations, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Experience partnering directly with scientific stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes, incident/change management, and vendor management.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Comp Sci, Life Sciences, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in GxP-regulated environments and Computer System Validation (CSV).
- Experience supporting laboratory data integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.
AWS/cloud exposure (S3, EC2, IAM) and familiarity with laboratory data flows.
- Exposure to scientific data platforms, analytics, AI-driven research environments, and enterprise data integration initiatives.
- Experience working within a global IT organization.
