Job Description
Our technical manufacturing client is looking for an IT Enterprise Architect for Enterprise Enablement supporting the organization's Enterprise Architecture organization. This is a highly strategic architecture leadership role focused on driving the long-term technology roadmap across enterprise business functions including ERP/SAP, procurement, application services, IT M&A, compliance, program management, and enterprise process improvement initiatives.
Day-to-Day:
• Own the Enterprise Architecture strategy for Enterprise Enablement systems across DuPont
• Drive technology roadmaps, modernization efforts, application rationalization, and platform standardization initiatives
• Partner with business and IT leadership to align technology investments with enterprise goals
• Provide architectural oversight for ERP, procurement, HR, legal, communications, and IT M&A systems
• Lead architecture reviews, governance processes, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
• Develop reference architectures, integration patterns, and scalable solution designs
• Evaluate existing application portfolios and create modernization, cloud migration, or retirement strategies
Support M&A and divestiture activities through technology assessments and integration planning
This role will be 4 days a week onsite in Wilmington, DE and the pay range is $85-$90/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of Enterprise or Solution Architecture experience
• 5+ years supporting large-scale ERP and enterprise application environments
• Deep SAP expertise including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP GRC, SAP integrations, and ERP modernization/migration initiatives
• Experience governing enterprise application portfolios, architecture standards, and technology roadmaps
• Strong understanding of integration architecture including APIs, middleware, ESBs, and event-driven design
• Experience supporting cloud-first enterprise environments (Azure preferred)
• Background working within architecture governance frameworks such as TOGAF, ARBs, architecture decision records, and exception management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• LeanIX experience
• Manufacturing or industrial industry background
• Experience with Source-to-Pay, Procurement, Finance, or HR systems
• SOX compliance and IT controls experience
• AI governance, Responsible AI, Azure AI, or SAP AI experience
• M&A/divestiture architecture experience
TOGAF or SAP certifications
