As the building engineer in a multi-tenant building, you will be responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the facility's various systems and ensuring a comfortable, efficient, and safe environment for all tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Building Systems Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire and life safety, structural, and control systems.
Energy Management: Develop and implement energy management strategies to optimize system performance and reduce operating costs.
Preventive Maintenance Programs: Assist in the creation and execution of preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building machinery and equipment.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, including landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, and cleaning, and inspect their work for quality and compliance.
