Job Description

The role involves completely rebuilding all documentation from scratch—including user guides, procedures, and standards—while also migrating all customer facing content from SharePoint into Confluence. The Technical Writer will create clear, concise one page standards, job aids, and training materials, and will build a fully structured Confluence documentation library that includes intuitive page hierarchies, templates, navigation, labeling, and content organization best practices. This includes designing new Confluence spaces, standardizing page layouts, improving searchability, and ensuring documentation is easy for teams to consume and maintain. The position requires close collaboration with subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and validate technical information, ensuring that all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with updated documentation standards.

Deliverables
• Fully rewritten procedure and user documentation.
• New Confluence pages and organized documentation library.
• One page “everything you need to know” standards documents.
• Training and onboarding materials (quick starts, how tos, reference sheets).

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years technical writing experience.
• Strong ability to simplify and structure complex processes.
• Expert in Microsoft Word and Confluence.
• Experience with documentation redesign, cleanup, or migration highly preferred.
• Excellent interviewing, organization, and content-structuring skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content quickly.
