Job Description

We are looking for a BI Developer to support the organization's pursuit of increasing the scalability of commercial operations through effective, data-driven decision making. In this role, you will join the Analytics team with the expectation of bringing deep expertise in Power BI development, semantic data modeling, and Databricks-based analytics environments.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and semantic models, while leveraging data curated within a Databricks-managed medallion architecture. This individual will also possess strong business analysis skills, translating business objectives into well-defined requirements, technical specifications, and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

Work closely with functional teams across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales & Marketing to understand, document, and translate business processes and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions utilizing Power BI and Databricks.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations.
Develop and maintain Power BI Semantic Models, ensuring scalability, performance, and reusability across reporting solutions.
Create meaningful business insights through KPIs, metrics, trend analysis, and executive-level reporting.
Optimize Power BI datasets, report performance, refresh strategies, and user experience.
Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other Analytics team members on Power BI development best practices.
Partner with business teams to establish reporting standards, governance practices, and documentation.
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Translate complex business requirements into practical reporting and analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics development.
- Expert-level experience developing solutions within Power BI, including:
Power BI Desktop
Power BI Service
DAX
Power Query
Report and dashboard development
- Strong experience building and maintaining Power BI Semantic Models.
- Experience working with data stored and managed within a Databricks medallion architecture.
- Advanced SQL experience.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data modeling best practices.
- Experience managing reports and dashboards throughout their full lifecycle within a formal change management process.
- Evidence of strong analytics, reporting, and documentation practices.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Experience developing executive-level KPI dashboards.
- Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Sales & Marketing analytics experience.
- Python experience.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or transformation initiatives.
