Job Description

A large utilities client is looking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Engineer to oversee and support our desktop engineering environment, ensuring an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot. Responsibilities include being a key member and providing SME input to a team supporting a Windows 11 CIS level 1 upgrade project, ensuring endpoint security and compliance, creating secure desktop images, and improving our endpoint management. We need a leader in this space, not someone who would be looking for direction, but a key partnership with the existing teams is critical. Day to day support needs will also be part of this role. Strong experience with cloud technologies, enterprise-level virtualization, enterprise security mitigation, and excellent troubleshooting skills are essential. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills. Must be able to go onsite in Newark or Dover DE two days a week.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.
