Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is seeking a Cloud Experience Software Engineer to build and enhance custom applications on Salesforce Experience Cloud. This is a pure software engineering role using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has a strong development background, solves complex problems, and clearly communicates what they’re building and why.
Day-to-Day:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain highly customized Salesforce applications
- Work through user stories and bugs in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
- Own technical execution and contribute to project discussions with clear, value-driven reasoning

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years as a software engineer with a strong development foundation
- Proven experience building on Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience in an Agile development environment (sprint-based delivery)
- Ability to clearly articulate the what, why, and value of past work
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with highly customized Salesforce implementations
- Background in financial services or financial systems
- Familiarity with the end-to-end project lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration
