Job Description
An Insight Global healthcare partner is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a growing, patient-centered Urgent Care Department. This organization is a modern, rapidly expanding healthcare system providing Urgent Care, Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Mental Health services throughout Delaware. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews
Diagnose and manage urgent and acute health conditions using clinical judgment and appropriate testing (labs, imaging, etc.)
Treat a wide range of conditions including infections, minor injuries, dermatologic concerns, and chronic disease exacerbations
Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, injections, and acute pain management
Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) while maintaining HIPAA compliance
Educate patients on medications, follow-up care, injury prevention, and overall health maintenance
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams as needed

Required Skills & Experience
Active Nurse Practitioner license (Delaware license preferred)
Valid DEA license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
1–3 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital-based settings
Ability to work scheduled weekends and holidays
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in critical care or ICU settings is highly preferred
