Salary: $115K - $125K annually (overtime paid at straight time rate)
Travel: Occasional travel to project or client sites

Project Details:
Lead the design of highway and roadway projects, including a new project to widen existing roadways.
Manage tasks, mentor engineers, and oversee design processes.
Focus on civil and structural engineering; environmental, mechanical, or electrical specializations are not suitable.

We seek a motivated Senior Engineer ready to take on increasing responsibilities within our dynamic design team.
Job Summary: The Senior Engineer - Highway will lead multiple highway and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with design criteria and regulatory requirements. This role involves significant client interaction, team leadership, and the opportunity to shape community infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Lead the design process for various highway and transportation projects.
Project Oversight: Serve as the Lead Highway Engineer on larger projects.
Team Supervision: Manage and provide quality assurance for design staff.
Financial Management: Assist in project design fees and budgeting.
Client Coordination: Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and government agencies.
Site Engagement: Travel occasionally for task completion or meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: BSCE from an ABET-accredited program.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in highway and transportation design.
Teamwork: Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with teams.
Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Federal, State, and local permitting regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microstation and MS Office suite.
Other: Valid drivers license with a safe driving record.
