Job Description

Insight Global is currently on the lookout for a Project Manager/Scrum Master for a fully remote position on a six month contract, with the potential for conversion to a full-time role.
This position is ideal for an experienced professional capable of leading large-scale platform modernization efforts and managing complex transformational programs.
The selected candidate will take on a dual role, functioning both as a Scrum Master and Project Manager, overseeing cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives.
The role will predominantly involve 60% on Scrum Master duties, requiring hosting daily standups, working closely with the PO, and can document and use storyboards such as Jira and RTC IBM. The remaining 40% will involve project management responsibilities, which include managing status reports, overseeing five different workflows such as budget management. The Project Manager will also be responsible for documenting processes through Clarity reports and creating PowerPoint presentations for L1, L2, and L3 executive team.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as the position will involve managing budgets, facilitating technical and business discussions, and delivering executive-level reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in healthcare or insurance, specifically any Claims Knowledge and overall understanding, including provider/member/claim flow
Proficiency with PM/SM tools: Jira, Clarity (for budget management), IBM RRC (Rational Requirement Composer), QuickBase and SharePoint – can flex on clarity as a strict must have
Has managed a project from end to end
Ability to serve in dual roles - Scrum Master and Project Manager
Experience managing budgets, including projects with up to $4 million in annual spend
Budget management responsibilities include resource hours/costs, SOW, infrastructure, and cloud expenses.
Experience managing 2-3 teams at times
Skilled in Agile and Hybrid methodologies (e.g., Kanban)
Strong capabilities in developing project plans, roadmaps, and executive presentations (PowerPoint)
Experience providing status updates, including risks and issues, to senior leadership
Ability to facilitate technical and business discussions effectively
