Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support one of our municipal clients in Woodbridge, CT. This individual will play a critical role in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating activities, and serving as a key point of contact for internal departments, officials, and residents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, polished, and comfortable in a public-facing environment. Key responsibilities:
Manage calendar, meetings, appointments, and scheduling logistics
Coordinate communication and scheduling across departments, officials, consultants, and residents
Draft, edit, and distribute correspondence, memos, notices, and official documents
Prepare proclamations, citations, and ceremonial or official communications
Serve as a primary point of contact—answer phones and respond to public inquiries
Maintain office records, files, and documentation
Support special projects, research initiatives, and operational tasks as needed
Act as liaison for the Neighborhood Assistance Act

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of executive assistant, administrative, or office support experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Comfortable interacting with public officials, staff, and residents
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting boards, commissions, or public sector operations
Experience with Adobe/PDF tools
Familiarity with PowerPoint, Canva, or digital media tools
Prior municipal or government experience
