A gas turbine company is looking for a Supplier Technical Engineer to join their team. This person will be joining the investment castings team supporting parts for the exterior of gas turbine engines. As a Supplier Technical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Technical Accountability: Oversee purchased parts from initial concept through the product life cycle, ensuring quality management.
2. Supplier Collaboration: Understand and address complex technical issues with suppliers, proposing solutions.
3.Quality Improvement: Collaborate with Sourcing Specialists and Buyers to enhance supplier performance.
4.Process Oversight: Lead PPAP and contribute to design and process FMEA.

- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of seven years of experience, or a Masters Degree with a minimum of three years of experience.
-Experience in supplier quality resolution using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
-Experience with ERP software and proficient with MS Office Suite
-Engineering/Manufacturing Background: Experience with machining, forging, and assembly processes
-Technical Knowledge: Proficient in engineering practices, process planning, drawing interpretation, tooling concepts, NDT, functional testing, metallurgy, and product knowledge.
-Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and statistical abilities.
-Interpersonal Skills: Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, reaching consensus, and influencing suppliers and internal clients.
-Lean & Six Sigma: Familiar with Six Sigma tools and Lean Manufacturing principles.
-Project Management: Capable of managing supplier qualification and improvement projects.
-Quality Management: Knowledgeable in supplier selection processes and quality management systems.
