Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a CNC Machinist to manufacturing company located in Westbrook, CT. The ideal candidate will be skilled in setting up, operating, and maintaining ProtoTrak lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts that meet ISO and ANSI technical drawings and quality standards
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Set up and run CNC machines to make small, precise metal parts.
- Check finished parts with measuring tools to ensure they meet exact specs.
- Follow instructions for machine setup, operation, and documentation.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe

Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school education.
- Must be able to proofread documents, read blueprints, train others, complete production paperwork
- Experience in 3,4,5 Axis (3-7 years of experience)
- Experience in GD&T (using tight tolerances)
- Ability to perform their own set ups and operate
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Shift machining experience
