Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join a manufacturing company based in West Hartford, CT. The Quality Supervisor will oversee a team of quality inspectors/technicians, implements quality control procedures, investigates product issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with the Directors of Engineering to ensure internal teams are adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring high quality production. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supervise daily activities of the quality control team, providing leadership, support, and training.
- Monitor and evaluate product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Review and analyze data, generate quality reports, and present findings to management.
- Investigate and resolve nonconformities, customer complaints, and product quality issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA).
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure audit readiness.
-Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve processes and product quality.

Required Skills & Experience
-minimum of 5-years' experience as a supervisor or chief inspector in a quality leadership role. Must be able to use standard measurement equipment and read blueprints.
-Layout experience and be able to access an inspectors output based on the complexity of work.
-highly desirable that the chosen candidate has CMM programming experience, and familiarity with ISO, AS and /or military specifications.
-Experience with GD&T, Precision Measurements, and ability to read prints.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability work collaboratively and lead teams in a fast paced environment.
- Aerospace, Firearm, Automotive and Machine Cutting industries are highly transferable.
