Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Director of IT to lead and modernize its technology environment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing enterprise systems—most critically the Epicor ERP platform—as well as network infrastructure, IT operations, and internal IT staff. This role requires strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders in a manufacturing setting.
The Director of IT will play a key role in stabilizing, optimizing, and modernizing IT systems while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or management roles
• Strong ERP experience, with Epicor highly preferred (manufacturing ERP experience required)
• Solid understanding of network systems, infrastructure, and IT operations
• Proven experience leading and managing IT teams
• Experience supporting or working within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience as an IT Manager or Director within a manufacturing organization
• Experience leading ERP upgrades, optimizations, or migrations
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
