Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Manager to work onsite for a client in Waterbury, CT. This client is in the Online and Mail Order Retail industry and we are looking for someone who has leadership experience in warehouse management, has experience with inventory management, and experience with Warehouse Management System(s). This role will be onsite Monday-Friday and may require occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Inventory Control: Ensure accurate tracking and management of all stock levels.
Compliance and Safety Management: Ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with local regulations, including health and safety guidelines, and managing risk to create a safe working environment.
Inbound Management: Oversee the efficient handling of incoming goods, verifying quantity and quality.
Outbound Operations: Manage picking and packing processes for timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Local Logistics Management: Build and maintain relationships with transport providers, monitor truck movements, and communicate KPIs to partners. Generate and deliver reports on logistics performance.
Team Supervision: Lead and develop the warehouse team, providing guidance to ensure safety, efficiency, and morale.

Minimum of 2 years in warehouse management, with at least 1 year focused on inventory control and forecasting.
2 years of experience leading and managing teams, ensuring team cohesion and high performance.
Experience implementing and maintaining an efficient warehouse layout and continuously improve processes to maximize space and productivity.
Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and computer systems.
Willing to adjust to flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings, as needed to support the department's operations.
