As part of the Water and Sewer (W&S) sector at the company, this position involves working a high-profile project for a water service replacement contract in New London. The role requires the superintendent service to be onsite for the full duration of the project. This position will continue beyond the completion of the current project, extending to other future projects. Daily responsibilities include maintaining hours and responsibilities for field workers each day ranging from 5 to 20 workers depending on the day, managing "Call Before You Dig" requests, overseeing the bidding process for excavation, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Additionally, the position requires regular communication with project owners and engineers to provide assistance and ensure compliance with ocean regulations such that much work will be conducted at depths of 4-5 feet or more. Knowledge of roadways and comfort working in such environments is essential. The role involves a mix of 90% superintendency duties, and the last 10% estimating, dealing with material & supply, and project management, depending on the project's needs. This is a $5 million project, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in its execution and ongoing operations.

- At a minimum, 3-5 years but highly preferred, 5-10+ years in water and sewage/underground piping and utilities superintendent work
- Experience working with "Call Before You Dig" requests
- General knowledge of materials: copper, brass, ductile pipe, cast iron pipe, HDPE
- Experience working on roadways
- Any construction-related degree, such as construction management or civil engineering.
- P6 or P7 underground sewer license or equivalent in other states.
