SAP BTP Integration Consultant INTL India

Insight Global is seeking a 6 month contract, possible extensions, possible conversion to perm, Remote Functional SAP BTP Integration Consultant in India for $8-$12 an hour.
To help our client leverage the SAP Business Technology Platform to integrate, extend, and innovate their business processes and applications. This role focuses on application-to-application (A2A) integration, API management, and process automation, ensuring seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP systems.

60% of their time will be spent on the functional side, ensuring that the systems integration are working with the business
40% of their time will be spent converting the functional discussion into what it means from a technology system.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
Design and implement integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
Configure and manage API integrations (REST/SOAP) across cloud and on-premise systems.
Enable application-to-application (A2A) communication between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third-party platforms.
Support the development of custom applications using SAP BTP services (e.g., SAP Build, CAP).
Ensure data consistency, error handling, and monitoring of integration scenarios.
Document functional specifications, test cases, and integration architecture.
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Must-haves

7+ years of professional experience in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform called Integration Services
Professional experience converting functional discussion into what it means from a technology system
Experience with API Integration (Application Programming Interface, which allows the different software systems to talk with each other)
API Integration means the consultant knows how to:
Connect SAP BTP with other platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, custom apps)
Use REST or SOAP APIs to send/receive data
Handle authentication, data mapping, and error handling
Experience with Application to Application
Application-to-Application (A2A) integration refers to the seamless data exchange and process automation between different applications within the same organization. It ensures that systems like ERP, CRM, HR, and finance can communicate without manual intervention.
