Insight Global is hiring for a L1 Digital/Broadcast Operator to sit onsite here in Stamford, CT for a large, streaming & multimedia company. This person will work 4 10-hour shifts with 3 month-rotation of shifts. This person will be responsible for single live event broadcast coverage (real-time monitoring) and L1 support. On a day to day, this operator will access their tools, UIs, and credentials, start playing with test streams, and start taking on assignments and tickets. Responsibilities include monitoring and support digital video workflows, insert triggers into live stream (ex. ads or polls), communicate with production teams to ensure high quality broadcasts, work with engineering to monitor both traditional and digital signal transmission, and support VOD (video on demand. Linear, and live workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience in a network operations, digital operations, or media operations facility
Prior experience with L1 monitoring: supporting digital video workflows and escalations
VOD, Quality Control (QC), close captioning, linear content, audio language
Prior experience with digital encoder set up of event-based streaming
DASH, HLS, Manifest, DRM
Experience working with engineering to monitor traditional and digital signal transmission
