Job Description

A large telecommunications client in Stamford, CT is looking for a Senior Director of Database Marketing and Campaign Management to join the Database Marketing Team. The primary focus of the role is overseeing their Marketing Campaign Data Mart (CDM), managing multiple data projects, and overseeing an in-progress program to better integrate Marketing and Charters Business Intelligence data assets. This program is working in tandem with Charters Business Intelligence group to better align campaign data with companies source of truth for footprint (includes data regarding homes and every active customer who has an account with this company). This individual will also be overseeing other data projects that arise, such as a new product being launched or a new company focus/initiative they need to pull new data for. Since this role is very data centric, this individual must be well versed in SQL, specifically the ability to query and pull data analytics. As a Sr Director, this person would have 2 data analysts as direct reports who will work on individual items with Business Intelligence. They will also be managing a vendor (MSP) who manages their database marketing and will oversee project leads to ensure this vendor is working on the correct tasks/timeline. This individual is expected to be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work very cross functionally as they will work in tandem with Business Intelligence, Customer Operations, and Product groups within the company.

Required Skills & Experience

10-15+ years of experience with Marketing Operations or Marketing Analytics
10+ years with both people and project management (multiple projects)
5+ years with Database Marketing
Strong leadership experience; ability to know high priority items and ensure critical data work is enforced
Recent hands-on data analytics experience utilizing SQL
Bachelors degree (Ideally in Marketing, Communications, Business, Management, or Information Systems)
