Delivery Lead, Enterprise Architecture

Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Delivery Lead for a top insurance and reinsurance client. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, enterprise‑scale initiatives, ensuring that target‑state architectures are translated into executable plans and delivered to production with high quality. The Delivery Lead will bridge strategy, architecture, and execution by partnering closely with enterprise architecture, solution architects, engineering, security, and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical credibility, enterprise systems thinking, and the ability to manage architectural integrity, delivery risk, and operational readiness in a highly regulated environment. This is a remote, 6 month contract-to-hire with a pay range of $80-90/hr and salary conversion up to 185k.

Day-to-Day
• Own delivery outcomes for enterprise initiatives, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met
• Convert architecture designs into actionable delivery roadmaps with managed dependencies
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, data, integration, and operational readiness standards
• Partner with architects and engineering leads on design decisions and architectural tradeoffs
• Orchestrate delivery across product, platform, and vendor teams
• Identify and mitigate delivery and technical risks
• Lead governance forums and provide executive‑ready status and decision recommendations
• Ensure full production readiness and operational handoff

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT delivery, architecture, or technical program leadership
• Proven ability to own end-to-end delivery and execution of complex, cross-enterprise initiatives
• Strong solution and enterprise architecture knowledge, including:
• Ability to read, create, and challenge architecture diagrams
• Understanding of integrations, data flows, security, infrastructure, and non-functional requirements
• Experience translating architecture and target-state designs into executable delivery plans
• Ability to push back on architects and engineers when designs create delivery risk, misalignment, or unnecessary complexity
• Strong storytelling and communication skills:
• Can explain why architecture and delivery decisions matter to the business
• Can communicate clearly from executive-level strategy down to delivery execution
• Demonstrated ability to break down complex initiatives into workstreams, milestones, and dependencies, then piece them together into a cohesive delivery narrative
• Experience acting as an IT Product Owner–style leader:
• Owning outcomes
• Defining and tracking KPIs
• Managing risks, issues, and dependencies
• Proven experience coordinating across architecture, engineering, security, data, infrastructure, EPMO, and business teams
• Comfortable operating across strategy, architecture, and hands-on delivery execution

• Experience delivering cloud or hybrid solutions (modernization, migrations, platform services)
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and formal architecture governance
• Experience producing or working with SADs, C4 diagrams, and NFR catalogs
• Background in regulated enterprise environments
• Experience partnering with security, GRC, DevSecOps, SRE, and operations teams
