Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a large enterprise client focused on strengthening and modernizing their cloud initiatives. This engineer will play a key role in managing cloud architecture across AWS and GCP while driving automation projects tied to certificate management, security, and infrastructure efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, technically strong, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment where cloud stability and automation are critical to business success. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity with long‑term growth potential.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years' experience in Cloud engineering experience
• Strong experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience managing and supporting cloud architecture
• Programming experience with Python, Golang, or Rust
• Linux‑based systems experience
• Exposure to Azure/SharePoint Online
• Experience with certificate management (DigCert, iSeries, or similar)
• Strong understanding of:
○ How web applications work (requests/responses)
○ IPs, hosts, headers, and redirects
• Experience with SSO implementations
Ability to automate infrastructure or security workflows

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with hyperscalers in large enterprise environments
• Firewall and wireless endpoint automation experience
Strong communication skills
