Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support an R&D organization within a medical device environment. This individual will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and technicians focused on supporting new product development and post-launch product improvements.
This role will involve hands-on lab work including building prototypes, conducting tests, inspecting products, and supporting test fixture development. The Engineering Technician will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data, as well as maintaining lab equipment, inventory, and a safe, organized workspace.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting equipment, working both independently and as part of a team, and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- 0–3 years of experience in testing, inspection, or laboratory work within R&D, aerospace, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working in the aerospace or medical device industry
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or other CAD software or Matlab
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience performing inspections
