An employer is looking for an Electrical Embedded Firmware Engineer to work in the new product development group at a fast paced R&D organization. This will be a hybrid role based in Southbury, CT.
This role is focused on designing and developing embedded systems and firmware for innovative products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software/hardware development, electronics design, and system integration, with a passion for building reliable and scalable solutions.
This role is critical in driving the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electrical systems and components for next-generation products.
This person will be responsible for designing the hardware up front, building the firmware, testing the board, adjusting the PCB as needed, and owning this lifecycle from start to finish.

4+ years of Electrical Embedded Firmware experience
PCB and electronics design experience using Altium
C/C++ experience for embedded firmware
Experience with schematic design, layout, and firmware
Experience building microprocessors, relays, motor drivers, etc.
Soldering experience on a circuit board
Experience with oscilloscope and testing with a multimeter
Experience working in an R&D organization
