An employer is looking for a Lead Product Filing Specialist to join their team remotely. This person will join the newly created "brainchild" of two well established private equity firms--this new company will be focused on the annuity space. The Lead Specialist will report into the Chief Compliance Officer and will lead the regulatory filing function. He/she will help build the filing infrastructure of the company including best practices, prepare submit and manage state filings thru SERFF, and develop policy forms with actuarial, legal, product, and marketing. This person should have experience filing for actively sold or actively marketed annuity products. He/she will interact heavily with regulators and internal stakeholders including the CPO and General Counsel to bring up any red flags around compliance, suitability, etc.
Compensation for this role is 115-150k per year annually plus bonus. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include generous paid time off, medical and dental insurance offerings, and 401k.

-5+ years of experience with insurance product filings with a strong focus on annuities (fixed, indexed, variable)
-Deep knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements and SERFF filings across multiple states
-Insurance filing strategy experience for actively sold/marketed products
-Self-starter and comfortability in a growth-oriented or start-up environment
