Annuities Business Analyst- Remote

An employer is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team remotely.
This person will join the newly created "brainchild" of two well established private equity firms--this new company will be focused on the annuities space of life insurance. The BA will gather business requirements, translate those requirements, and help the PM implement them. He/she will work closely with several teams including Operations, IT, and any external vendor partners. This person will document requirements and technical documentation in Confluence or Jira and will provide regular status updates to the Annuities PM, Head of Operations and Head of Technology, including any risks. This person should have a background in annuities, ideally would have started in a technical role, and has then moved into a BA/PM role. Additionally, this person must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with little processes in place.
Compensation for this role is 120-140k per year annually plus bonus. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include generous paid time off, medical and dental insurance offerings, and 401k.

-3+ years of business analysis experience
-2+ years of experience in a technical role (coding, configuration, data, and/or testing)
-Ability to help create processes and work outside a traditional SDLC
-Experience working within Annuities --strong understanding of annuities operations
-Agile experience
-Strong communication skills

-Knowledge of eApplication, Talkdesk, 1035 exchange, and/or FAST platforms
