Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for an engineering consulting firm with opportunities at their Plainville, Groton, Providence, Boston and Portsmouth locations. This role offers a chance to lead and manage projects while ensuring design, budget, and schedule objectives are met. The Project Manager will be instrumental in delivering high-quality construction efforts and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients and coordinate proposals with senior management.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, including time and expense estimates.
- Assist in presenting project proposals to clients.
- Select and guide project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Make major project design decisions in collaboration with clients and Project Officers.
- Maintain client relationships throughout and beyond project completion.
- Supervise staff performance, offering constructive feedback and recommending promotions.
- Ensure safety compliance for all project activities and personnel.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure project success.

- Bachelors degree in engineering; must be registered or eligible for registration in Connecticut.
- 8-10 years of experience in engineering design and software (Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD).
- 5 years of project or construction management.
- Comprehensive understanding of the physical and built environment, including landforms and topography.
- P.E. (professional engineer) certificate not required, but willingness to obtain is a plus.
- Effective technical skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
