Job Description

A banking employer is seeking a Sr DevSecOps Architect to lead the foundational phase of a DevSecOps transformation effort across multiple technology towers. This role will be instrumental in defining the toolset, establishing best practices, and coaching teams that are new to DevSecOps principles. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership to drive alignment, adoption, and operational readiness across all technology towers. Responsibilities include the foundational design work for this implementation effort, evaluating and configuring DevSecOps tools, guiding teams through cultural and process change, and providing ongoing operational support for tool maintenance and optimization. This is a role that blends strategic planning with tactical execution.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Architect with proven experience architecting and implementing DevSecOps pipelines and toolchains
Strong knowledge of CI/CD and security tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube, Snyk)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
Demonstrated ability to coach teams and lead change management initiatives
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, FedRAMP)
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
