A banking employer is looking for a Desktop Administrator to join their team in Middletown, CT. This position is open due to surge support for a hardware refresh effort. The Desktop Administrator will be responsible for helping the team deploy about 200 new machines including laptops, desktops, and PCs. All devices must be scanned and built to a configured standard. They will be responsible for following the Windows image and checking for necessary patch or vulnerability updates prior to deployment. They will work directly with end-users that are in the main branch location for delivery of equipment to users. They will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the devices including set-up, applying asset tags, and eventually decommissioning the asset when returned. They will track each asset throughout the deployment process.

3+ years of experience as a Desktop Administrator or related position
Ability to build PCs in large scale for hardware refresh efforts
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and patching, preferably with InTune
Experience tagging, tracking, and decommissioning assets as needed
