Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a remote hands‑on Senior Developer to support and build modern, scalable automation and decisioning solutions within an enterprise environment. This role will focus heavily on IBM automation technologies and modern Java‑based microservices, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and support high‑impact systems used across the business.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices and automation solutions using IBM BAM OE, Kogito/KEI services, and IBM ODM. You’ll work closely with architects, product partners, and other engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions. Day‑to‑day work includes building and integrating APIs, supporting workflow and decisioning platforms, participating in CI/CD processes, and ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards. You’ll also contribute to system improvements, performance optimization, and production support efforts while collaborating across teams in a cloud‑based environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience building and supporting microservices‑based architectures using Java Spring boot
- Strong understanding of SOA and API‑based architectures (REST, integration patterns, service orchestration)
- Strong hands‑on development experience with IBM BAM OE and/or KEI Servers / Kogito
- Solid experience with IBM ODM / JRules, including decision services and rule‑based architectures
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as GitHub Actions
Experience collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support deployments and production environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Healthcare domain experience
• Experience enabling or supporting business users on decision platforms
• Exposure to AI and automation initiatives in enterprise environments
