Insight Global is seeking a fully remote GCP Data Engineer to join a large healthcare client. This GCP Data Engineer designs and implements complex ETL pipelines leveraging Apache Airflow for DAG orchestration and workflow automation. They develop advanced Python scripts to perform large-scale data transformations, error handling, and validation across multiple sources. Daily responsibilities include managing Google Cloud services such as Cloud Composer, GCS, Dataflow, IAM, and Secret Manager to ensure secure and scalable operations. The role involves working extensively with MongoDB, optimizing indexing, aggregation, and data modeling for high-performance queries. They ensure data quality through schema checks, type enforcement, and robust error reporting mechanisms throughout the ETL process. The engineer handles large-volume file processing and data harmonization from diverse sources, maintaining efficiency and reliability. Additionally, they collaborate on DevOps practices, using GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automating deployments to streamline delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
Advanced Python skills for large‑scale transformations, error handling, and validation.
Expert in Apache Airflow with strong DAG design, orchestration.
