Job Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer for a high-impact cloud migration project with a leading healthcare insurance client. The role focuses on transitioning a complex data ecosystem from Teradata to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), primarily BigQuery. Responsibilities include analyzing and converting thousands of legacy Teradata SQL statements, optimizing for GCP, and leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate migration. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a strategic modernization effort that will improve scalability, performance, and long-term data agility for the client. This person will also be involved in supporting Tableau dashboards throughout the migration and continuing to support automated pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Hands-on experience with GCP data services, including BigQuery and related tools
Strong expertise with SQL ability to write complex queries
Previous experience with Teradata
Experience with automation and creating/building pipelines
Expertise supporting and migrating Tableau dashboards
