Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote FinOps Coordinator/Analyst who will partner closely with application, engineering, and business teams to drive financial accountability and optimization across cloud environments. This role focuses on communication, analysis, and guidance rather than hands‑on coding. On a daily basis, the individual will track cloud usage and spend, analyze cost trends, and help teams understand where their cloud costs are coming from and why. They will meet regularly with application teams to review usage patterns, provide visibility into spend, and recommend opportunities for optimization and cost savings. The role will also support budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback/showback efforts, ensuring costs are accurately allocated and understood. In addition, the FinOps Coordinator/Analyst will help define and reinforce FinOps best practices, assist with governance and tagging standards, and act as a trusted advisor to teams on making cost‑aware technical and architectural decisions in the cloud.
