Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Devops/SRE developer. In this role, you will design and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Python while ensuring robust, scalable solutions. You will manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Kubernetes to support continuous delivery in production environments. Daily responsibilities include provisioning and maintaining GCP resources such as GKE and Cloud Functions, while enforcing IAM, VPC, and firewall security compliance. You will monitor system health and performance using observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and AppDynamics, and troubleshoot issues across services, infrastructure, and data layers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in Agile environments will be key as you implement DevOps best practices and improve reliability. You will also focus on automated deployments and debugging production issues to maintain high availability and resilience. Occasionally, you may work on advanced integrations using Apigee, Kafka/Pub/Sub, and other GCP services to enhance system capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
Application Developer – DevOps/SRE-Oriented (Java + Python)
• 5+ years of software engineering experience (Java/Spring Boot, Python).
• 2–3+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in production environments.
• Strong with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
• Skilled with observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics).
• Excellent production debugging across services, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Experience with IAM, service accounts, VPCs, firewalls, and security compliance.
• Capable of designing, provisioning, and maintaining GCP resources (GKE, Cloud Functions, etc.).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Apigee, Kafka/Pub/Sub, broader GCP services.
