An employer is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join their team. This is primarily a remote position, but this person should be able to travel to Hartford, CT as needed. This position is open because there is a state agency in need of additional support as they migrate to a new case management platform. All applications previously developed for this agency have been built in-house, and they are launching their first instance of Power Platform in the coming months to modernize their platforms. The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining applications using the MS Power Platform suite including Power apps, Power Automate, Canvas Apps, PowerBI integrations, and SQL to automate workflows and upgrade and create custom applications. This resource will be heavily focused on integrating Power Platform with existing applications, and will be responsible for building APIs, using APIs, and will need to connect the commercial off the shelf Case Management tool with all of the in-house applications. They will be responsible for any real-time integrations as well as batch updates as needed. This person should have exemplary communication skills and high attention to detail.

8+ years of experience as a Power Platform Developer with a focus on Power Platform integrations
Experience in the health and human services industry, understanding of HIPAA and related compliance
Strong experience with SQL
Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Canvas Apps, & PowerBI
Strong experience building and using APIs
Experience working for the State, Local, or Federal Government
