Job Description

An employer is looking for an offshore Release Manager to sit in India.

The responsibilities for this position include:
Champion Release Management and Change Management processes
Manage, coordinate, and facilitate requests by acting as the focal point for driving change/release priorities in preparation for the implementation/deployment
Act as liaison between the change owning Infrastructure teams and application development, project management, infrastructure support, and other teams across the project portfolio roadmap
Manage and orchestrate activities across functional teams, which may include business/account management, development, all service transition teams including Release Management Production Support.
Constant engagement with technical team leaders and change owners to ensure full and accurate data is collected
Manage risk for release scope
Manage on-going projects and stewardship of the Release Management process, which includes enforcing policies to govern the process
Establish and communicate release schedules, level-setting expectations, and release implementation progress and completion
Provide timely reports across all impacted stakeholders and teams
Create required Release Management documentation to support implementation throughout the lifecycle
Document, track, and communicate known issues, RCA, and solutions
Track and transition artifacts to support the future production implementation
Ensure proper approvals are received
Establish and maintain a Release Calendar to support the environment

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience as a Release Manager
4+ years of LEADING technical and non-technical teams in implementation and release activities
Must have experience building tactical plans
Must be flexible. This position will require the ability to change priorities quickly
Strong task manager, collaborator, and leader
Proven ability to develop business relationships and communicate successfully

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

ITIL Certified
Experience with ServiceNow
