Job Description
The Network Architect will lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable, cloud‑native network architectures across multi‑cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role drives the network strategy for SaaS platforms, ensuring high availability, multi‑tenant isolation, zero‑trust principles, and seamless integration with modern application patterns such as microservices, containers, and API‑driven services.
You will partner closely with engineering, security, and business teams to define secure engineering practices, establish reference architectures, and enforce policies and standards. You’ll also lead incident response efforts, mentor engineers, and contribute to long‑term strategic planning, innovation, and research in next‑generation network and security technologies.
This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to influence enterprise‑wide network and security strategy.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years in network engineering with 5+ years in architectural or leadership roles.
Deep expertise in GCP networking (VPC design, PSC, VPC SC, Cloud DNS/NAT/Router, load balancing).
Strong background in SaaS network architecture, including multi‑tenancy, secure ingress/egress, and zero‑trust patterns.
Proven experience designing networks for cloud‑native platforms (GKE, service mesh, containerized workloads).
Advanced knowledge of enterprise routing/switching and major network/security platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Arista).
Demonstrated ability to architect secure multi‑cloud solutions and enforce network/security standards.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills with experience supporting 24/7 production environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience designing networks for AI/ML or high‑performance GPU workloads.
Familiarity with zero‑trust frameworks (BeyondCorp) and cloud‑native security models.
Background in global SaaS scaling, geo‑distributed architectures, and advanced traffic management.
Proficiency with network automation and IaC tools such as Terraform or KCC.
Experience with network virtualization and SDN technologies (NSX, ACI, EVPN/VXLAN).
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, NIST, CSA) and cyber‑resilience programs.
Relevant certifications (CCIE/CCNP, JNCIE, GCP/AWS/Azure Networking, PCNSE, CISSP) or contributions to open‑source/security communities.
