A Property & Casualty insurer is looking for a Cybersecurity Support Specialist to join their team. It is preferred that the resource be local to one of their offices in Hartford CT, Cincinnati OH, or Princeton NJ. This position is open because the company is going through 3 large data center migrations and needs additional support. They will be part of a team of 6 supporting entities and application infrastructure in the U.S. and Canada. The Cybersecurity Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting and reviewing IT Security controls for applications transitioning to the cloud, and performing IT application security risk assessments. They will need to review and understand security architecture, data flow, network diagrams, and review relevant documentation pertaining to in-scope applications. They will identify gaps and risk levels and define mitigating controls for risk and security gaps. They will work with various teams including PMs to prepare gap presentations for asset owners, and work with risk assessment and control evaluation.
-Senior level IT Cybersecurity background with knowledge of security infrastructure concepts, foundations, frameworks, and processes
-Understanding of best security practices and standards such as ISO2700, NIST CSF/RMF, PCI DSS
Experience with risk and security governance
-Previously participated in data center transformation effort and/or cloud initiative
Information Security Certification/Accreditation (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP)
