Job Description

A large healthcare client is hiring two Data Engineers to join their CDR platform team. This team supports the clinical member data and is looking to build out the provider/member portal so that the information is accessible on the cloud. The GCP is already established so the main responsibilities is to transform CCD files to FHIR formats and HL7 messages. This person should be comfortable working in a big data environment to support clinical data. In this role you will have the opportunity to get hands on experience with AI/ML.

Required Skills & Experience

Good knowledge of HL7 FHIR resources & key concepts like - value sets, terminology, etc.

Hands-on experience on data mapping between HL7 v2 to FHIR and CCDA to FHIR.

Ability to develop source to target maps and perform functional testing of FHIR outputs.

Strong understanding of healthcare standards such as HL7 V2 messages, HL7 CCDA, HL7 FHIR, and IHE ITI transactions.

Basic knowledge of SQL

Should be able to demonstrated good reporting skills with data analyst mindset

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in IRIS or other opensource tools

AI/ML experience

FHIR Certification
