An employer is seeking a Child Welfare Business analyst to join their Connecticut based team. The majority of this role will be done remotely with a requirement of one day onsite in Hartford per week. This is open because the executive department is in process of replacing their current child welfare system. This system is used by all agency staff to promote efficiency and improve family outcomes. They are in need of a Business Analyst to aid this project and work with the technical and vendor staff who are currently in process with system planning, design, development, testing, conversion, implementation, and maintenance related to this system upgrade. This Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and completing documentation within the area of child welfare, and participate in LEAN events to map out business processes, assess business readiness, and coordinate with social work staff for system development and design. They will also assist with training plans for new development, and may also help with testing, and business readiness plans. They will likely need to analyze and document policy and practice changes and participate in time studies in preparation for caseload weighting changes within the new system as well as handle the documentation around it. The Business Analyst will work with the project team and sprint teams to engage the business partners to ensure proper functionality of the new system. This project is using a hybrid version of the Scaled Agile Framework for enterprises (SAFe).
