Agile Product Owner

We are seeking an Agile Product Owner to either be hybrid in Hartford, CT or Charolette, NC, with exceptions for the right candidate to be remote. The Product Owner will serve as the key link between business strategy and technical execution, driving delivery for multiple agile teams by translating product vision and roadmap priorities into clear, actionable user stories and sprint goals. This person will own and prioritize the team backlog, define acceptance criteria, validate completed work, and ensure each release delivers meaningful business value. The Product Owner will act as the voice of the customer within the agile team, partnering closely with product managers, business leaders, Scrum Masters, architects, tech leads, and stakeholders to refine requirements, align priorities, and support business readiness for product releases. This role is best suited for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions in a fast-paced agile environment.

• 6+ years of experience in a Product Owner, digital, or technology-focused role.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Experience using agile/project tools such as JIRA, Rally, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands-on experience managing backlogs, prioritizing work, and translating business needs into user stories
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to support decision-making
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple high-priority demands at once.

• Insurance industry experience
• Global Specialty experience or familiarity with the business domain
• Experience supporting business readiness and change management activities tied to product releases
• Bachelor’s degree
