Job Description

Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Program Lead for the Missile Compartment to support increased workload and program demand. This is a high‑visibility role embedded in a shipyard environment, responsible for driving execution, removing barriers to production, and ensuring cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
The ideal candidate is a well‑organized, proactive leader who can think strategically while acting tactically in a fast‑paced construction environment. This position offers broad exposure across Engineering, Planning, Operations, and senior leadership.

Day to Day Responsibilities
• Own and communicate status of assigned missile compartment models, including milestones, metrics, and overall progress
• Prepare and deliver presentation and metric content for program and leadership reviews
• Plan, prepare, and lead a weekly Red-Work Meeting (approximately 2 hours/week) with cross‑functional stakeholders including Production Control, Advanced Planning, Detail Planning, Engineering, and Ship’s Management
• Serve as a key information conduit to Operations, ensuring production teams have what they need to execute
• Develop and manage priority lists for Detail Planning, focusing on the top 15 critical work items
• Actively remove roadblocks that prevent production teams from executing work (“turning wrenches”) by solving problems on the boat and partnering with managers to improve efficiency
• Coordinate across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Contracts, Test, and other functional teams to resolve design, material, and construction issues in a time‑critical environment
• Track and report performance using cost, schedule, and attainment metrics (e.g., IMCS data, 3G/7G reports)
• Support continuous improvement by applying lessons learned ahead of production to prevent issues before they impact the construction team
