Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Financial Application Support Analyst to act as a liaison between IT and Finance teams, supporting Oracle EBS Financial Modules and related processes. This individual will ensure accurate management of accounting, asset, and tax information within Oracle Finance modules and assist with enhancements, fixes, and process improvements. The role involves collaborating with IT software engineers, Finance personnel, and consulting groups to improve system usability and compliance with government accounting requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Support proper recording of asset and tax information
- Serve as liaison between IT and Accounting for Oracle module enhancements and fixes
- Execute and distribute routine reports to users
- Identify and assist with process improvement opportunities
- Maintain asset depreciation schedules
- Document processes around accounting, fixed assets, and tax in Oracle
- Respond to ad hoc requests

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting Finance ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Financial Modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Tax Books)
- Experience with PS SQL for code writing and database querying
- Experience with the software development lifecycle process
- Ability to gather and analyze data to resolve business system issues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance/Economics, Mathematics, or IT/Computer Science
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of related experience
- Experience with Accounting, Asset Depreciation, and/or Tax Accounting
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking and project oversight
- Familiarity with highly regulated industries, particularly Government Contracting
