Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support a large defense manufacturing on a project in Groton, CT. This individual will complete physical modifications supporting service and repairs on naval ships and submarines.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience working with electronics.
Experience working with High Voltage (800 volts or less).
Experience performing field service engineering activities such as verification/validation.
Experience with troubleshooting problems and performing repairs, modifications and tests in alignment with naval standards.
Experience performing test on power conversion equipment.
Experience working with PWAs and subassemblies.
Active DOD Secret clearance and a U.S. passport.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Graduate of military technical trade (Navy Nuclear Power School, Navy Aegis "C" school)
Experience with Nuclear Naval Processes
Experience working on submarine and/or Naval ships
